Nova Scotia Express Entry category reopens

On November 2017 the Canadian province of Nova Scotia reopened its Express Entry Stream for 225 new applicants.

The Nova Scotia Express Entry stream is popularly known as Category B and the candidates applying do not need any job offer or Canadian work experience to prove. It also does not need a minimum CRS score.

Any candidate nominated from this category will get an extra 600 points towards their CRS score and effectively increases the chance to get an ITA in the next federal Express Entry Draw.

Along with these criteria, an applying candidate’s occupation shall be in Nova Scotia current In-demand occupation list.

The category B operates on first cum first basis and the intake period lasted for only 2 hours.

Unlike the last time, it had opened on 28th April 2018 it accepted 350 applications and closed within a few hours of its opening.
