Prince Edward Island issues new invitations to Express Entry candidates

The Province of Prince Edward Island conducted its draw on 17th May 2018 were it issued Invitations to 78 applicants were 22 Invitations were for Express Entry candidates, those who are working in PEI Province.

People who wish to be considered under PEI’s Express Entry Stream must create a profile through the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system, and profiles are assigned points based on six selection factors: age, language, education, work experience, employment, and adaptability up to a maximum of 100 points.
Express Entry candidates who receive nomination by PEI get an extra 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
Candidates invited through the PEI Express Entry Stream have 90 days from the invitation date to give a complete application to the province’s Office of Immigration.
The May 17 draw also issued invitations to 56 candidates out of total of 78 Invitations issued in PEI’s Labour Impact Category and no Invitation score was provided for these candidates.
