THE BIGGEST EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW 2018

The latest express entry draw as conducted on 11th April 2018 by IRCC has surprisingly issued a humongous  number of ITAs i.e. Invitation To Apply 3500, by far the biggest number for year 2018 for the candidates of Express Entry pool to apply.

The CRS Score recorded in this particular draw has come out to be 444 which is a two point drop from the previous draw dated 26th March 2018.

 

The IRCC used a tie-breaker in this draw dated 11th April 2018 on March 26th 2018, timed 08:25 UTC,  which means the candidates with a CRS score above 444, as well as the candidates with scores of 444 who submitted their profile before this time, were issued an ITA.

In order to enter the Express Entry System an Individual has to be eligible under the 3 given categories of Express Entry System only then a CRS score is allotted. Given below are the categories:-

  1. Federal Skilled Worker Class
  2. Canadian Experience Class
  3. Federal Trade Worker Class

It looks Canadian government is all ready to meet its target of 74,900 admissible candidates for the given three immigration classes under the Express Entry System, a multi-level immigration plan it has set for year 2018 to 2020.

 

With this large draw there are possibilities in future IRCC may conduct frequent draws and draws of big number ITAs to meet its target goals.

Last year April 2017 saw frequent draws a total number of ITAs issued then were 11,341 and the lowest CRS cut-off was 415. So let’s hope for the best.

The Provincial Nominee Program of various provinces have been active in making use of their Express Entry aligned PNPs, with a PNP nomination for a candidate leads to an added advantage of 600 points further to their CRS scores.
